My Time at Sandrock: How Sandfishing Works In My Time at Sandrock, you can go sandfishing to catch elusive fish. It’s not quite like traditional fishing, and you’ll have to lead your potential catch on a little more than you would with a fishing rod. The fish sell for a good price, and the prizes are useful if you’re trying to prepare any meal recipes. In My Time at Sandrock, here’s all you need to know about how Sandfishing works.

What is the best way to go sandfishing?

Before you can go sandfishing, you’ll need a Basic Sandfish Trap or something better. Make sure you have one, as well as a sandworm, in your inventory. Sandworms can be found in the desert, or they can be discovered while breaking apart a rock. Head out to any fishing spots near Sandrock with both of those supplies in your inventory. When you arrive, you’ll be able to locate a specific position where you may interact with the fishing spot and begin fishing.

You’ll notice them gliding through the sand as if they were in the water when you first start fishing. The fish will eventually disappear beneath the sand, and you won’t be able to see them. To attract them out of the sand, toss a sandworm close to where they might be hiding. Unfortunately, the worm does not stay put indefinitely. It’ll sink slowly into the sand, and you’ll have to toss another one to for them to come to the top. When a fish finds a sandworm, it will slowly cut through the sand in an attempt to devour it.
